Since its introduction last summer the popularity of Retex RetO 19″ rack, stocked and distributed by EDP Europe, continues to increase.
EDP Europe which stocks and distributes Retex 19″ Racks will be exhibiting both the RetO and LogicII racks at Data Centre World, London in April. Both Retex racks are designed for self-assembly in approximately 5 minutes, and being flat packed they can facilitate easier transportation, storage and deployment, while also being available fully assembled.
The Retex RetO is available in heights from 18U to 47U, widths of 600mm & 800mm and depths of 600mm, 800mm, 1,000mm and 1,200mm. The robust design of the Retex RetO provides a static load capacity of 1,200Kg as standard, from a rack that is around 20% lighter than most racks thanks to its aluminium profiles. The RetO has some unique features that aid ease of use and versatility, and includes: Front and rear doors that open up to 190°, fully adjustable mounting angles with scales to ensure simple and accurate positioning, numbered RU spaces on 42U & 47U racks making for easier equipment installation, and unique side panels that can be removed in two ways – even enabling them to be removed when racks are bayed together. Whilst on the subject of baying, the RetO introduces a new baying kit concept that enables two RetO racks to be quickly and easily bayed together without the need for any tools.
Colin Parker, Marketing Manager at EDP Europe said “We are seeing more and more interest in the Retex product line, particularly the RetO. The rack offers a host of features, is competitively priced and provides a highly flexible, user friendly enclosure in both flat packed or fully assembled formats”.
