Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic Announces May Chapter Meeting Schedule

PHILADELPHIAMay 20, 2016PRLog — Angel investment firm Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic (K4-MA) has recently announced its full upcoming meeting schedule for local area chapters for the month of May. These industry-leading forum meetings are designed discuss current industry topics and means of success, as well as serving as a premier networking opportunity for any entrepreneur in search of a potential investor to their start-up business.

A recent report by Business News Daily shared a survey conducted by Propel(x), an online angel investment platform, and revealed the top three reasons angel investors may choose a specific business: an exceptional management team, ability to understand the technology, and of course, an enticing return on investment (ROI).  The survey was based on the collected responses of more than 200 active, established and aspiring angel investors.

The report stressed that any entrepreneur currently searching for an angel investor to fund their business may want to consider what the investor is looking for to improve their chances of success in their respective start-up – the kind of crucial networking provided at all Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic forum meetings.

The Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic New York Chapter will hold its May K4-MA forum meeting on May 24, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The meeting will be take place at the Baker Hostetler, located at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, 14th floor, in New York City.

The K4-MA May Philadelphia chapter forum meeting will take place on May 24 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The meeting will be located at Baker Hostetler, on the 12th floor of the Cira Center, located at 2929 Arch Street in Philadelphia.

The K4-MA Washington, D.C. metro chapter will hold its forum meeting on May 26, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The meeting will be located at Baker Hostetler at 1050 Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington, D.C.

Finally, the K4-MA May Pittsburgh chapter forum meeting will be held on May 27, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The meeting will be located at Schnader Harrison, 27th floor, Fifth Avenue Place, Pittsburgh.

The Mid-Atlantic Region presents approximately four deals a month, 44 a year, to its members and accredited investor guests.  In 2015 27 of the 44 presenting companies received funding, a ratio of more than 60% which is thirty times higher than the industry average of 2%.  Approximately 36 funding applications are submitted each month to the K4-MA DealRoom website, and vetted by industry specialists. About 10 are then vetted by members at monthly screening meetings where they participate in a highly structured presentation- and-feedback- learning session.  Three to four of the screened companies are typically invited to present at subsequent monthly Forum meetings.  Entrepreneurs invited to move forward to the Forum meetings must participate in mandatory professional coaching sessions to optimize the delivery of their presentations and also agree to participate in the road show to all four cities in the region, with exposure to 100+ investors.  Subsequently, information about their companies is posted on the organization’s online global deal room for reference by all 1500+ members.  For global information visit:
